Hanging Plant

This print barely made it into my scanner. It measures 2 7/8 x 12 inches. I am beginning to like the unmounted linoleum simply because I can cut it to what ever size I want. I mounted this on 1/4 plexiglass.

And yes we do have a plant that looks like this. Given the chance, it would take over the living room. We do not, however, have yellow walls. I lived in a place once where my bedroom was painted orange, though, and I'm convinced it affected my mood. Adversely.

The print is hand-pulled and is one of a larger edition of 50. Handcolored, signed and numbered.

I absolutely LOVE this! The size just enhances it - or I should say the "tondo". Great job!

I really like this one, especially the long vertical composition and the liveliness of that plant!

Have you tried carving wood blocks? They are a little trickier to carve but you can make them any size you want. Plus you get the grain of the wood as part of the design.
